Vision Boards

Our imagination is very powerful. A vision board is a place where you post your goals and dreams using pictures and words.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Vision boards will help you to stay focused.

Focus on what you want and it will grow.

Vision boards are magical. Items on there will start to come true if you use the board right.

Here is a list of some ideas that you might include on your board.

1. personal development

2. family/parenting

3. spiritual awareness

4. fun and enjoyment

5. relationships

6. health and aging

7. personal finance

8. career and profession

Choose items that you want to improve in your life.

The next step is to take action.

Everyday look at your board for 5 to 10 minutes. Live out your dreams. See yourself succeed. Be excited about it.

Next, act as if you have already achieved these things. Feel the joy from within yourself. Do the things you would do to celebrate. Have gratitude. Be thankful.

Visualize your end result. Have fun.

Contemplate how your life will change. Meditate. Think of how great it would be to achieve these things.

Ask questions, what would it be like if this goal happened?

Place your vision board in a place where you can see it everyday.

Only allow supportive people to see it. This board is not for everyone. You don't want anyone negative about it. Save it for someone special.

Lastly, use positive affirmations. Say statements to yourself that are positive and keep you focused. For example, "I now achieve my dreams and goals easily and effortlessly".

Jim Carrey wrote a check to himself for 10 million dollars dated for some time in the future for acting services rendered. After his break out movie, Ace Ventura, he made about 10 million dollars. AWESOME!

He also used to go to the Hollywood sign, and imagine himself famous. He would see himself as a success. He believed and his dreams came true.

It can happen to you too!

Create your board. Stay focused. Follow the action steps and remember....
