It has been awhile since I have done a show because mostly I have been working online with my website.As I spent some time with these new women, I re-confirmed why I joined this company. Most people are closed minded to even consider doing something like this. I had never thought that I would do this either. I have grown in my confidence. I have helped other people. My skin is beautiful. This all started because I was invited and chose to attend a L'Bri show. The women I met last weekend were very nice. Many of them had heard of L'Bri before and some were already on the product. Although the show wasn't high in sales, I gained more confidence because it was great practice doing the show. I also "planted some seeds". Many of the women were living paycheck to paycheck. They made comments about not having enough money or not having enough time. I shared with them some information about my business and offered to them to take a short DVD home and some information to look over, no obligation. I just want to share the facts, so they can make an informed decision. Not one of them had an open mind to check it out. I am NOT discouraged. One lady was really informed about the product and she had joined other direct sales companies in the past. She told me that she just doesn't like selling. After the show, I looked at her profile sheet and she listed that she was a salesman. Haha. It's funny. No matter what you do, you are selling something. You might be selling to your kids about the benefits of doing their homework or to your boss why you deserve more money. Selling is a part of everyday life. To be truly successful, you need to be a good seller. The other thing that was re-confirmed for me this weekend was the importance of dreaming BIG. It seems that people are thinking too small. I can't do this or that. I won't be able to travel. I won't have enough money. And on and on ... I am working my business. It's not a get rich quick scam. It takes time and consistency. I will be a success. I am going to keep working until I can quit my day job. What would you do if you didn't have to work every day??? Think about it... I have!!!
