Some know a lot about skin care while others do not. Most are not using a "system" for their skin care routine. In fact, I often heard comments like "I use ABC cleanser, XYZ moisturizer, and 123 facial masque. Why don't I have clear, healthy skin?"When using a hodge podge of different products, your skin gets confused. Using all of these different products will throw off the pH balance of your skin. pH refers to the balance of acid and alkali in your skin. If you don't maintain your skin's pH balance you are more receptive to bacteria and infection. For example, when one of my customers started using the L'Bri trio, she was only using the first 2 products and then using up her old moisturizer. She wasn't noticing much difference in her skin. However, once she starting using all three products together is when she noticed the difference in her skin. Products are formulated to work together synergistically, so even if you leave out one step, you won't experience the best results. Once you find a system that works for you, stick with it. It may be hard to throw out all of your old products, but mixing products will only confuse your skin. For best results, avoid mixing skin care products. Use a skin care system that is intended to work together to maintain your skin's natural pH balance.
