Direct sales marketing can be done in two ways. One of the ways is the "traditional" way of direct sales.

Direct sales is a distribution system, or a form of marketing, which channels goods or services from the manufacturer to the consumer through a "network" of independent distributors or consultants. It's great because it cuts out the "middle man".

It is estimate that there are over 80 million home based business'. Over $29 billion in goods are sold in the United States through direct sales.

Many people wish they had their own home based business because you can work at your own pace, choose your own hours, and earn what you are worth.

A new home based business is started every 60 seconds in the United States.

~hostess conversion

~info packets

~sampling

~referrals

~sponsoring games

~recruiting

Some of these things can also be utilized when marketing online. For example, referrals will happen in both situations.
